Faithfull Marking Gauge
The Faithfull high quality gauge is made from the finest hardwood, and enhanced with brass facing plates and fittings. A nylon friction pad is fitted under the knurledA pattern of straight, angled, or crossed lines cut into the surface of a component to provide a better grip for the operator. brass thumbscrew to reduce wear to the stem and to ensure secure, smooth and accurate setting of the gauge. This marking gauge is used to mark parallel lines either with or across the grain.
