The Newel Post Fastener is design for securing the newel post to the ground by either chemical resin if the substrate is concrete or screwing it in by a spanner in to a wooded joist. It is also designed for demountable stair railing systems as it can fix the top newel to is base. It features a flattened section for a wrench or spanner to wind it into the floor. In a concrete floor we recommend a chemical anchor. The mechanism requires a 35mmø x 30mm housing and a 6mm hex bit for tensioning.
